011. Purpose and Platform Role

These Community Rules govern all interactions between Users of the Vito Marketplace platform. Vito operates as a technology platform and digital marketplace intermediary. Vito does not monitor all communications in real time and cannot guarantee the conduct, honesty, or safety of any individual User. These Rules define the standards Vito expects from all Users and the enforcement measures Vito may apply within the limits of the Platform. Compliance with these Rules is a condition of continued access to Vito.

022. General Standards of Conduct

  • Users must interact with all other Users with basic respect and professionalism.
  • You are responsible for all content you post, messages you send, and actions you take on the Platform.
  • You agree not to use the Platform for any purpose other than lawful commerce and communication.
  • You agree that all representations you make about your identity, listings, and intentions are truthful and accurate.
  • Users must comply with all applicable laws of the Kingdom of Thailand in their use of the Platform.

033. Prohibited Conduct

  • Harassment, intimidation, threatening language, or personal attacks directed at any User.
  • Discrimination or hate speech based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Creating, operating, or using fake accounts, alternate accounts, or impersonating another User, business, brand, or public figure.
  • Soliciting, accepting, or offering payments or agreements outside the Platform for items or services that were initiated on the Platform.
  • Sharing or soliciting personal contact information through the Platform's messaging system in order to circumvent the Platform.
  • Using the Platform to advertise, promote, or redirect users to competing services, external websites, or alternative sales channels.
  • Coordinating with other accounts to artificially inflate or manipulate seller ratings, review scores, or listing visibility.
  • Submitting false or fabricated reports against other Users with the intent to harm their reputation or access.

044. Fraud, Scam, and Deceptive Conduct

  • Listing items or services that you do not own, possess, or are not authorized to sell.
  • Accepting payment for goods or services with no genuine intent to deliver.
  • Providing items that materially differ from the listing description, condition, or photographs.
  • Sending counterfeit, replica, or substitute goods without explicit prior written disclosure.
  • Misrepresenting the origin, provenance, age, authenticity, or legal status of any item.
  • Creating urgency, pressure, or false scarcity to manipulate a Buyer's decision.
  • Using the Platform to conduct advance-fee fraud, phishing, identity theft, or any form of social engineering.
  • Any form of fraud will result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban and may be reported to Thai authorities in applicable circumstances.

055. Spam and Platform Abuse

  • Mass unsolicited messages sent to multiple Users are strictly prohibited.
  • Repeated posting of identical or near-identical listings to flood search results.
  • Use of automated scripts, bots, or AI tools to generate listings, messages, or interactions without Vito's prior authorization.
  • Keyword stuffing, tag manipulation, or any technique designed to artificially boost search ranking.
  • Reporting other Users' content without genuine good-faith grounds.

066. Safety Guidance for Offline Transactions

  • Vito strongly recommends that in-person transactions take place in well-lit, public, busy locations.
  • Never transport large sums of cash to meet an unknown party.
  • Always tell someone you trust where you are going and who you are meeting.
  • Vito staff will never request to meet Users in person as part of a transaction or dispute.
  • Vito accepts no liability for any harm arising from in-person meetings arranged through the Platform.
  • For high-value transactions, consider meeting at a police station or bank.

077. Enforcement — Hybrid Model

Vito applies a hybrid enforcement approach to Community Rule violations. Minor first-time violations may receive a formal warning. Repeated violations or violations of moderate severity may result in feature restriction or temporary account suspension. Fraud, scam conduct, severe harassment, impersonation, and similar serious violations will result in immediate suspension or permanent ban without prior warning. Enforcement decisions are made at Vito's sole discretion and are not subject to appeal in all cases. In addition, Vito may take Enforcement Action for conduct not explicitly listed in these Rules when such conduct (a) creates or increases risk to the safety, rights, or interests of other Users; (b) undermines trust in the Platform or the integrity of its systems (for example: evasion of restrictions, abuse of vulnerabilities, manipulation); or (c) indicates bad-faith, deceptive, or harmful use of the Platform. Vito aims to act proportionately and in good faith, in line with applicable laws of Thailand.

088. Reporting Violations

Users may report violations using the Report function on any listing, profile, or message. All reports are reviewed by Vito's Trust & Safety team. Vito does not guarantee a specific response time or outcome for any report. Submitting false or misleading reports is itself a violation of these Rules and may result in Enforcement Action against the reporting User.

099. Limitations of Platform Intervention

Vito's enforcement powers are limited to actions taken within the Platform (warnings, restrictions, bans, account deletion). Vito has no power to recover money, retrieve goods, enforce any agreement between Users, or compel any party to take any action outside the Platform. Users are solely responsible for the risks inherent in transacting with unknown parties.

1010. Cooperation with Authorities

In certain limited, applicable circumstances, and strictly in accordance with Thai law and Vito's legal procedures, Vito may cooperate with Royal Thai Police or other competent Thai authorities by disclosing user information. Such cooperation is not guaranteed and is subject to applicable legal requirements. Vito makes no representation that reporting an incident to Vito will lead to any law enforcement investigation, prosecution, or any other governmental action.

1111. Governing Law

These Community Rules are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any dispute arising from their application shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.
