Business & Shop Rules

011. Platform Role for Shops

Vito provides a digital infrastructure for registered Sellers to operate marketplace shops ("Shops"). Vito functions solely as a technology platform. Vito is not an employer, partner, agent, or co-venturer of any Shop owner or Seller. Vito does not co-own, co-operate, or share in the revenues or liabilities of any Shop. The operation of a Shop on Vito does not create any employment, agency, or commercial partnership relationship with Vito.

022. Shop Registration and Seller Verification — Tiered System

Seller verification on Vito operates on a tiered model. All Sellers are subject to Basic Verification upon registration (phone number or email, profile completeness). Sellers in risk-identified categories — including high-value goods, electronics, jewelry, luxury items, financial services, regulated products, and large-volume commercial operators — are subject to Enhanced Verification, which may include: submission of government-issued ID, business registration documents (DBD registration in Thailand), verification of physical business address, and additional platform-assigned trust conditions. Vito reserves the right to determine which categories require Enhanced Verification at its sole discretion. Unverified accounts in categories requiring Enhanced Verification may have listing or revenue capabilities restricted until verification is complete.

033. Shop Owner Obligations

  • You must represent yourself and your Shop truthfully and accurately at all times.
  • You are solely responsible for the goods and services you list, sell, and deliver.
  • You must comply with all applicable Thai laws governing commerce, consumer protection, business licensing, and tax obligations.
  • You must hold all necessary licenses, permits, and regulatory approvals for any products or services you sell.
  • You must not list prohibited items or services as defined in the Prohibited Items & Services Policy.
  • You must fulfil all orders for which you have accepted payment within the timeframes you represent to Buyers.
  • You must maintain accurate inventory and promptly remove or mark unavailable any items you cannot deliver.
  • You are responsible for determining and collecting all applicable taxes on your sales under Thai law.
  • You must provide accurate product descriptions, truthful pricing, and genuine product photographs.

044. Staff Accounts and Permission Management

  • Shop owners may grant access to staff accounts with defined, role-based permissions.
  • Available staff roles and their permissions are as specified in the Platform's staff management interface.
  • The Shop owner is solely and fully responsible for all actions taken by staff accounts on the Platform.
  • Vito treats all actions performed by a staff account as actions of the Shop owner.
  • Staff accounts must comply with all Platform Terms of Service and policies.
  • Staff access must be revoked promptly when a staff member's employment or authorized relationship ends.
  • Shop owners must not grant staff access to individuals who are not genuinely authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Sharing staff login credentials between multiple individuals is strictly prohibited.

055. Shop Conduct and Customer Service

  • Shops must respond to Buyer inquiries within a reasonable time, generally within 24 hours on business days.
  • Shops must handle complaints, disputes, and returns in good faith.
  • Shops must not mislead Buyers about product specifications, delivery timelines, or after-sale support.
  • Shops must not apply artificial pressure, false urgency, or manipulative tactics on Buyers.
  • Shops must not manipulate their own ratings through fake reviews, coordinated posting, or incentivized deceptive reviews.

066. Fees, Commissions, and Revenue

Shops may be subject to subscription fees, listing fees, transaction commissions, and other Platform Fees as published on the Platform's pricing page. Vito may modify its fee structure with at least thirty (30) days' advance notice. Vito is not responsible for any revenue outcomes, sales performance, or commercial results of any Shop. Platform visibility tools (boosts, promoted listings) do not guarantee specific sales outcomes.

077. Enforcement Actions Against Shops — Hybrid Model

Shop violations are subject to Vito's hybrid enforcement model. Minor violations receive escalated warnings and may lead to temporary feature restrictions. Serious violations — including fraud, sale of prohibited items, repeated deception of Buyers, or manipulation of platform systems — will result in immediate temporary suspension or permanent shop removal without prior warning. During any suspension, pending orders must be fulfilled or Buyers must be notified and offered remediation within Vito's guidelines. Enforcement decisions are made at Vito's sole discretion.

088. Shop Suspension and Closure

  • Vito may suspend a Shop temporarily pending investigation of suspected policy violations.
  • Vito may permanently remove a Shop for confirmed serious violations.
  • Suspended Shop owners will receive notification by email with a reference to the reason for suspension.
  • In cases of fraud, prohibited item sales, or severe violations, suspension may be applied immediately and without prior notice.
  • Appeals against Shop suspension must be submitted through Vito's official support channel within fourteen (14) days of suspension notification.
  • Vito's appeal decision is final.

099. Vito's Limitations

Vito cannot guarantee that Buyers will transact in good faith with any Shop. Vito cannot guarantee any specific level of sales, traffic, or visibility for any Shop. Vito does not mediate or resolve financial disputes between Shops and Buyers and cannot compel either party to a specific outcome. Enforcement actions by Vito apply only to Platform access and features; Vito has no authority to enforce agreements or obligations outside the Platform.

1010. Governing Law

These Shop Rules are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Commercial disputes between Shop owners and Buyers are between those parties and are not subject to Vito's jurisdiction.
